Tricolor Dimmable Lamp Electronics
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building a line of premium desk lamps that pair resin shades with cement bases for the U.S. market, and I need rock-solid electronics behind them. Each lamp must let users switch between daylight, soft white, and warm white G9 LEDs, dim smoothly through a rotary dimmer, and run safely on 120 V AC. Every component has to be UL-certified and available off-the-shelf so I can source parts in the States within a week for pilot builds.
Here’s what I’m looking for you to deliver:
• A concise schematic (PDF or native ECAD file) that lays out the full circuit: 3-tone selector, rotary dimmer interface, on/off, and over-temperature protection.
• A bill of materials listing specific G9 bulbs, sockets, drivers, color-change boards, dimmer modules, and any thermal or EMI safeguards—with direct U.S. suppliers or equivalents.
• Wiring and assembly instructions that my small team can follow, including gauge, insulation, strain relief, and grounding notes to stay within UL best practices.
• A short troubleshooting brief covering flicker, audible buzz, excess heat, or inrush-current issues we might meet during bench tests.
• Recommendations on quick-turn thermal tests so I can verify low heat build-up inside the resin shade before we commit to a larger order.
