ESP32 Energy Meter Cloud Integration

Job ID: 40074458

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I will ship you an ESP32 development board together with the energy-meter IC module already wired for voltage, current and overall power-consumption sensing. Your task is to build the complete data pipeline: read those three parameters on the ESP32 at a sensible sampling rate, push them securely over Wi-Fi, and have them land in my Google Cloud account for long-term storage and future dashboarding.

Although my original note mentioned AWS, I’ve decided to proceed with Google Cloud instead, so please use the tools you feel most comfortable with there (IoT Core, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery—whatever keeps the solution simple and maintainable). TLS encryption and device authentication are mandatory.

I’ll provide:
• The hardware (ESP32, energy-meter IC, power supply)
• Wi-Fi credentials for bench testing
• Access to a fresh Google Cloud project

What I need back:
• Fully commented ESP32 firmware (Arduino or ESP-IDF) that captures Voltage, Current and Power-consumption values from the IC and publishes them to Google Cloud
• Cloud configuration scripts or step-by-step notes so I can recreate the MQTT topic, database or storage bucket, and a quick way to verify incoming data (e.g., simple Cloud Function that echoes payloads to the log)
• A brief README that covers build instructions, required libraries, and how to flash and monitor the device

Once I confirm live data streaming for at least 24 hours without drops, the job is complete and I’ll release payment immediately.
