Luxury GPS Tracker for Small Dogs - Full Hardware, Firmware & App Development
Budget: €3,000 – €5,000 EUR
We are looking to develop an ultra-light, waterproof GPS tracker specifically designed for very small dogs and puppies.
The device must meet the following requirements:
• Weight: under 15-20 grams
• Form factor: small and suitable to be integrated into a stylish chest harness
• Waterproof: suitable for outdoor use and active pets
• Real-time GPS tracking via mobile app (iOS & Android)
• Bluetooth (BLE) & LTE or NB-IoT compatibility
• Rechargeable battery with long life (multiple days per charge, if possible)
• OTA firmware updates
• Live tracking and location history in the mobile interface
• Secure cloud integration and mobile notifications
• Optional: small buzzer/vibration for training purposes
The goal is to create a functional and stable prototype ready for field testing, with the potential to scale toward small-batch production in the next stage.
We want to work with someone experienced in:
• Embedded systems (ESP32, STM32, etc.)
• PCB design for ultra-compact layouts
• Mobile App Development (basic version first, with expansion options)
• Real-time communication
• Battery optimization
• Animal-safe, rugged wearable electronics
Our expectations:
We are aiming for a high-end, stable, and beautifully crafted product that feels commercial-ready, not just like a test build.
The final GPS unit should be compact enough to fit inside a custom pocket.
Most trackers on the market suffer from delayed updates, weak GPS signal, or unreliable apps. We want to offer something better - with accurate real-time tracking and a fast, intuitive mobile app that works flawlessly.
Our current budget for Phase 1 is €3,000–€5,000.
