Design Engineer to design a removable 24/48V Battery Pack with BMS integrated into the Waist section for Wearable Exoskeleton

Endoenergy is involved in commercialisation of wearable assistive exoskeletons to help elderly people move around for normal daily living activities.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Designer to support us in completing our engineering product design
Most of the Mechanical Design to achieve required functionality for the exoskeleton product has been completed, but some functionality features are being enhanced in collaboration with an Industrial Designer. Engineering Design of a Li-ion Battery Pack with Associated Integrated Charger to be integrated into Waist Section as well as an External Battery Charger are needed. The overall Battery Pack system design needs to be carried out in collaboration with other on-going design work for the exoskeleton product especially the WAIST section.
The engineering design work for the BATTERY PACK is to be carried out in collaboration with another Engineer and an Industrial Designer to achieve the following
• Design compact 24V/ 48V Battery Pack with integrated BMS and Battery status display able to be housed into an IP65 rated enclosure in the Waist Section
• Easy BATTERY PACK insertion/removal method automatically connecting (mechanically, electrically and functionally) to WAIST
• External Battery Charger
• Select appropriate materials for heat dissipation, durability, water sealing and aesthetics
• Design and integrate all Battery internal parts and their interconnections to the WAIST Section for operation as specified
• User centred approach used in achieving the functionality of the battery system
• Aesthetically pleasing design in appearance and usability for removing/re-inserting Battery Pack in WAIST Section
• Design and integration of cells, sensors, electronics boards, thermal materials (conduction, insulation, covers), heat sinks, display screen, LED panels, relays, switches, and wiring
• IP65 rated waterproofing method
• Provision for adjustment method being designed in WAIST Section
