Ubuntu 24.03 Intune Onboarding
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I have a small fleet—fewer than ten desktops—running fresh installs of Ubuntu 22.04, and I need every one of them fully enrolled and manageable through Microsoft Intune. My goal is zero-touch deployment going forward: once this first batch is set up, I want a repeatable process (script or documented steps) that lets me add future devices in minutes.
Here’s what I expect at the end of the engagement:
• Each Ubuntu 22.04 machine successfully enrolled in Intune and showing compliant status.
• A clear, commented Bash or PowerShell script (or equivalent) that automates enrollment and pulls the correct management profiles.
• A brief hand-off document outlining any prerequisites, the exact commands run, and how to troubleshoot common enrollment errors.
We’re starting with clean systems, so there’s no need to migrate or preserve previous configurations. I can provide remote console access or run commands locally while you guide me; whichever is faster for you. If additional packages, Azure AD permissions, or tenant settings are required, call them out and I’ll have them ready.
I’m ready to begin as soon as you are and would like to wrap this up quickly, so please let me know your availability and estimated timeframe for delivering the working script and documentation.
