Animated Banner for educational website
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I am looking for a skilled freelancer to create an animated banner for my current affairs educational website. The banner should be engaging and visually appealing, capturing the attention of visitors to my site. I am particularly interested in text and image slides alternating with flash symbols like ! X O
Size:
- The animated banner should be in one of the following sizes: 300x250 pixels, 728x90 pixels, or 160x600 pixels.
Elements:
- The banner should include text, images, and animations. These elements should work together to convey the message and purpose of my website.
Animation:
- I prefer to have a slideshow animation for the banner. This will allow for a dynamic and interactive display.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in creating animated banners, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in this area.
- Knowledge of design principles and ability to create visually appealing and engaging animations.
- Understanding of current affairs and educational content, to ensure the banner aligns with the theme and purpose of my website.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Additional Details:
I want very large text and rapid images - a mixture of ‘shock' and 'Just think about it’. No explanations this is a teaser to get them looking at the (rest of the) videos
I could myself put together from my 20 videos examples of the key text amd tex + image slides and video clips.

I am thinking of around 40 seconds made up of:
15% video clips, 15% Flash symbols and flash question words such as WHEN? and 70% made up of selected impact making slides.
I am prepared myself to produce a library of relevant slides with site locations and timings in the video to enable professional capture - leaving the designer to order and combine them with probably several selections to make the final choice for the banner from
The overall strategy is to increase the very low subscriber numbers by 1) quickly indicating the range and appeal of the whole channel 2) by suggesting the channel content can help a subscriber with the WHEN ? questions facing his daily life
To commission you i need some samples of how you might put together the 3 elements:
- I have only 3 video clips on my site each lasting less than 10 seconds - one is especially dramatic (11, 22, 27 on the Youtube list)
- I have NO examples of flash symbols and flash questions - though one other Freelancer seller does - you could maybe view those if i commission you
- Given the relatively short length of the banner the key determinants of which slides to include are
A) choosing slides with a good match of text and colour photo
B) not too much text on the slide
C) impact making but raising questions in the viewers mind.
