QuickBooks Bookkeeping & Compliance
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My retail operation runs on QuickBooks and the chart of accounts is already in great shape—I simply need disciplined, ongoing execution. Each trading day you’ll enter sales, purchases, expenses, cash-drawer movements and match collections to the bank feeds. By month-end you will reconcile every bank, cash and mobile-money account, then highlight any variance that needs my sign-off.
Inventory accuracy is critical. I’ll export the stock movement file; you’ll compare it with physical counts, flag discrepancies and note probable causes so we can act fast. Accounts payable and receivable must stay clean and current; overdue items get escalated to me with context, not just a balance.
I travel frequently, so clear, proactive reporting keeps everything on track. Here’s how I see the cadence working:
• Daily: QuickBooks updated within 24 hrs of close
• Weekly: concise sales, cash-position and expense snapshot emailed every Monday
• Monthly: full management pack—P&L, cash-flow, balance sheet, inventory variance—delivered within five calendar days of the new month
Please keep all work inside QuickBooks; Excel or Google Sheets are fine for supplemental schedules, but the source of truth stays in the file. Consistency, attention to detail and responsive communication will be the markers of success.
