Monthly QuickBooks Retail Bookkeeping
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a small-to-mid-size retail operation and keep everything inside QuickBooks Online with my bank accounts already linked for automatic feeds. What I’m looking for is reliable, month-after-month help staying on top of expense tracking.
Here’s what I need you to handle each cycle:
• Pull the bank-feed transactions, code them to the correct chart-of-accounts categories, and attach any supporting documents I upload.
• Flag anything that looks odd so I can clarify before month-end.
• Reconcile the checking, savings and credit-card accounts against the statements.
• Generate the standard monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow) so I have them ready for review on the 5th business day.
Everything else—sales tracking and inventory management—is covered in-house, so you can stay laser-focused on expense accuracy. I’ll grant you accountant-level access in QuickBooks Online; no additional software is required. Consistency and clear communication are far more important to me than speed, though I do expect the monthly close to be finished within one week of statement availability.
