I need a Photoshop expert who can remove the background from some illustrations in many intricate spaces.

I have many images such as the one below that I will be printing to canvas.. the canvas is white and the only details I want showing are the strokes the artist has made such as the birds, branches and flowers, but none of the paper, I would like all of the paper background removed, even in the little spaces.
