Portrait Background Removal & Excel

I have a folder of portrait shots that need their backgrounds cleanly removed in Photoshop so each subject sits on a fully transparent layer. Hair edges must look natural and no halos should be visible when the image is dropped onto dark or light backgrounds. Final files should be delivered as high-resolution PNGs named exactly as the original JPGs (just changing the extension) and placed back into the same folder structure.

Alongside the images, I maintain a simple Excel tracker that lists file names, dimensions, and status. Once the edits are done I’d like that spreadsheet updated with a “Done” flag and the new file sizes. No complex macros—just accurate data entry and any quick formatting tweaks that make the sheet clearer.

Please work nondestructively, share one sample portrait first so I can confirm the cut-out quality, then proceed with the rest.
