Bzmarr.com is revolutionizing the construction industry in Iraq by partnering with over 200 suppliers to streamline the supply chain. We are, dedicated to making business operations more efficient and easier in Iraq. We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our innovative and dynamic in-house tech team.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side logic for Bzmarr.com platform.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Design and implement APIs to support new and existing features.
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure security.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration.
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Knowledge of security and data protection best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
