Supabase to PostgreSQL Migration

I have a website built using Lovable that currently uses Supabase for database and authentication. My Supabase membership has ended, so I need to migrate everything to my own server.

I already have the Supabase SQL export files (schema, triggers, functions, and seed data). The job requires:

Tasks

Set up PostgreSQL on my server (or configure it on an existing VPS).

Import Supabase SQL files (schemas, triggers, functions, seed data).

Handle Supabase-specific features:

Auth replacement: since Supabase auth won’t work outside, I need either

A custom user authentication system, OR

A replication of Supabase’s auth.users table with working login logic.

Update my Lovable website to connect with the new self-hosted PostgreSQL database.

Ensure blog + profile functionality continues to work.

Provide documentation so I can maintain it later.

Deliverables

A working PostgreSQL database running on my server.

Website connected and functional (login, blogs, profiles).

Clear setup & maintenance guide.

Skills Required

PostgreSQL (schema migration, triggers, functions).

Supabase experience (bonus).

Backend development (Node.js / Django / Next.js or similar).
