Storage Booking System That Integrates With a Backend
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 CAD
I’ve included mockups here.
The whole system includes 5 Pages and 3 Modals.
In my estimations (assuming longer times than I think it will actually take), it would take an “average" developer about 160-200 hours to create. If you’re at all above average, then you shouldn’t have trouble doing it quicker.
My estimations are based on being a Chief Technology Officer for 8 years, leading more than 25 software projects from A-Z and leading teams of developers of all levels of expertise levels.
Building this will mean we would want you for additional work in the future for any new features/adjustments.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
1) TIMELINE
Begin immediately
2) FINAL GOAL (Including WordPress)
This system is designed for my client to NOT need a developer (once it’s completed) for most things (except new features).
The use of WordPress is not 100% required, but it IS a requirement that there must be a backend that Non-Developers can easily manipulate all content (Static content can be easily changed via WordPress and dynamic content can be adjusted via the implementation provided in the specs)
3) UI/UX
Mockups are provided and the flow should be kept AS IS (a final set of visual adjustments will be provided at the very end just for colouring to reflect the company color theme)
4) DATABASE
Database is already provided, with variable naming -> Expectation is that you will Not change them
(I’ve been designing databases for 8 years on 10+ software projects, including multimillion dollar enterprise software)
5) PROGRAMMING LOGIC (Programming logic, conditionals, functions)
It is already mapped out -> MUCH less time investment than it would otherwise take you
(I will share this with you - you will see they are not typical specs where you would need to figure out on your own how to implement everything)
6) API INTEGRATION
- It integrates with an existing backend management system via an API
- There are roughly 15-20 API calls involved (it uses SOAP)
- You will have easy access to a developer who has detailed knowledge of the API, the specs, and all parts of the system
