Spring Boot E-commerce Backend

I need an experienced Java developer to take ownership of the server-side of a new e-commerce web application. The stack is Java 17, Spring Boot, Maven, MySQL, and Git for version control. You will design and code RESTful endpoints, wire them to a MySQL schema, and secure everything with standard authentication and role-based authorization.

Core functionality to cover:
• Product catalog management
• Customer reviews and ratings
• Shopping cart integration

Beyond those, you’ll be expected to write clean, well-documented code, squash any bugs that surface, and fine-tune performance so page loads stay snappy under load. OpenAPI/Swagger docs, unit tests, and concise setup instructions should accompany the work so I can pull the repo, run `mvn spring-boot:run`, and see a working service immediately.
