Senior Node.js Marketplace Architect / Technical Lead

We are looking for a senior Node.js developer / software architect to audit and stabilize an existing marketplace platform before launch.

The platform is a fashion marketplace with auctions and normal product sales.

Tech stack:

Node.js (Express)
PostgreSQL
Redis
React (Vite)
WebSockets (real-time bidding)
Stripe / payment integrations
Sendcloud shipping integration
The platform is already developed by a team of developers and consists of:

Backend API

Frontend marketplace

Admin dashboard

Your role will be:

• Perform a full codebase audit
• Identify architectural issues and potential race conditions
• Fix critical bugs before launch
• Review auction logic and real-time bidding system
• Review payment flow and order creation
• Ensure marketplace stability for production launch
• Guide the existing development team if needed

This is a time-sensitive project.

• auction systems
• high-traffic platforms
