Senior Laravel Dev- Custom Email Piping Bridge (Exim4 to Laravel 12)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build a custom bridge for incoming email handling. The TMail script I am using (Laravel 12) is missing the local piping logic, and I want to bypass the creator’s external API by using my own server infrastructure.
The Task: You need to develop the missing "bridge" that takes raw email data from the Exim4 mail server and injects it directly into the Laravel application.
Technical Requirements:
Clean Install: Perform a fresh installation of the TMail script on mailima.com (HestiaCP / Hetzner Ryzen VPS).
Exim4 Integration: Configure a catch-all pipe in Exim4 to send raw email data to a PHP handler via stdin.
Artisan Bridge: Write a custom Laravel Artisan command that parses the raw email (using a library like zbateson/mail-mime-parser) and stores the body and attachments in the existing TMail database.
Instant Delivery: Emails must be processed and visible in the UI in under 5 seconds.
Multi-domain Scalability: Configure a second domain as a test and provide a simple guide so I can add more domains myself in the future.
Infrastructure Details:
OS/Panel: Ubuntu / HestiaCP.
Memory Optimization: You must fully disable ClamAV and SpamAssassin at the system level to optimize the 2GB RAM.
Isolation: This work is strictly for mailima.com. You must not modify any other domains on the server.
Requirements:
Proven experience building Custom Email Bridges or handling Raw MIME data in PHP/Laravel.
Strong knowledge of Exim4 routers/transports in HestiaCP.
