We are building a monetized audio platform and need an experienced backend engineer who can take an existing React + TypeScript frontend (built in Lovable) and turn it into a fully functioning native mobile app using Capacitor (iOS + Android).
This is not a simple API project. The goal is a production-ready podcast app with:
• All standard podcast features (catalog upload, episode management, subscriptions/following, comments, notifications, search, playback history, background audio, etc.)
• Role-based system (listener, creator, advertiser, moderator, admin)
• Ad-supported playback (no unauthorized skipping)
• Server-verified ad completion
• Immutable financial ledger
• Stripe integration + webhook reconciliation
• Affiliate marketplace logic
• Direct host-read sponsorship workflow
• Fraud protection (idempotency, replay prevention, rate limiting)
• Secure wallet logic and revenue splits
You must be able to:
• Design the backend architecture
• Implement secure financial logic
• Handle ad verification properly
• Deploy to production
• Wrap the existing frontend using Capacitor and prepare iOS/Android builds
• Support background playback and proper mobile behavior
