Senior Backend Developer for Price-Comparison App

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to build the complete, scalable, and complex backend system for a new price-comparison application. This project demands deep expertise in building robust, high-frequency data integration solutions and high-performance APIs.
Dedicated Budget:
The dedicated budget for this project is $3,000 (Three Thousand US Dollars) for a Fixed Price contract. We are looking for a long-term partner to complete the full project scope in future phases after securing follow-on funding.
About the Project:
The application is functionally similar to platforms like Price.com or Idealo.de, focused on retrieving and optimizing price data from major regional retailers (e.g., Noon, Amazon.sa, Jarir, Extra).
Mandatory Technical Stack:
We require mandatory expertise in the following technologies:
Core Framework: FastAPI (Python)
Database: PostgreSQL with SQLAlchemy ORM
Caching/Queuing: Redis (for caching, rate limiting)
Background Workers: Celery + Redis for heavy, asynchronous tasks.
Data Integration Tools: Python automation libraries (e.g., Playwright, aiohttp, Requests) and external data source management systems for reliable data flow.
Deployment: Docker (preferred).
Key Features You Must Deliver:
Advanced Price Data Retrieval System: Must be resilient, asynchronous, and capable of efficiently retrieving and updating product data on demand and on schedule from multiple external e-commerce platforms.
Smart Product Search API: Logic must manage database lookups, conditional data update/refresh, and dynamic results return.
Comprehensive User Authentication: Implementation of Google/Apple OAuth2, tracking user states and actions.
Cart Optimization Engine: A unique feature to calculate the cheapest combined purchase options (multi-store vs. single-store purchase).
Critical Click Tracking System: Detailed tracking and logging of all user redirects to external retailer websites.
