Python Backend & UI Upgrade

I need an experienced Python developer to extend an existing application. My immediate priority is the UI: new, user-facing features have to be woven into the current interface without breaking its look-and-feel or workflow. Once the front end is in place, you’ll round out the supporting backend logic, tighten security, and wrap everything in a deployment-ready package.

The codebase is already live, so you’ll be working against real-world data and user flows. I’m looking for someone who can read what’s there, recommend the cleanest path forward, then implement it with minimal disruption. Secure coding practices, version control discipline, and clear commit messages are essential.

To help me choose quickly, focus your proposal on projects where you have:

• Added features to an existing UI written in Python (or a compatible framework)
• Updated or refactored backend services to support new front-end functionality
• Hardened an application with authentication, data-validation, or other security layers
• Packaged the finished product for smooth deployment (e.g., Docker image, installer, or similar)
