Phoenix App Backend API Support

I’m finishing up a cross-platform mobile app (iOS and Android) and the client-side work is moving fast, but the server side still needs love. I need an experienced back-end technologist in the Phoenix, AZ area who can sit down with me—virtually or over coffee—to design, build, and document the core APIs and supporting services. The goal is to have a solid, deployable back end within the next month so the front-end team isn’t blocked.

Here’s the current picture:
• Tech stack is flexible; I’m leaning toward Node.js with Express or Fastify, Postgres on the data layer, and AWS for hosting, but I’m open to other proven stacks you’re comfortable with.
• Core features to implement include user auth (OAuth + JWT), real-time and REST endpoints, push-notification hooks, and an admin panel API.
• Clean, versioned documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI) is essential so the mobile team can integrate quickly.
• We’ll pair on schema design, set up CI/CD, and establish unit/integration tests so releases stay painless.

Final deliverables:
1. Fully functional, tested API hosted in a staging environment.
2. Database schema (migrations or scripts) ready for production.
3. API documentation published online and delivered as a PDF snapshot.
4. Brief hand-over session to walk through deployment and codebase.
