Role Description
We’re looking for a developer to support both backend and frontend improvements for our community app. The main focus will be repairing and optimizing the matching algorithm, so experience with algorithms and backend logic is important.
Key priorities include:
Repairing and optimizing the matching algorithm
Fixing bugs and improving app reliability/performance
Updating the Home Screen UI (frontend) based on a provided mockup
Supporting additional feature enhancements as needed
This is a short-term contract role. Ideal for someone with experience in backend development, algorithm troubleshooting, and frontend UI work who can deliver polished, user-friendly results.
Qualifications
Strong experience in backend development (Node.js, MongoDB, or similar).
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize algorithms.
Experience with frontend/UI development for mobile apps (React Native or similar frameworks preferred).
Skilled in debugging, performance optimization, and delivering clean, maintainable code.
Comfortable working in a short-term contract role, independently and efficiently.
Prior experience with community, social, or matchmaking apps is a plus.
