We are seeking a Lead Systems Architect to finalize the backend and integrations for a hybrid platform that merges streaming media, a custom fintech ledger, and a direct-response ad engine.
Our internal team has already developed the frontend UI/UX and visual architecture. We now need a heavy-hitter to build the “Brain”—the secure, logic-heavy engine that powers the platform’s financial and security layers.

The Technical “Engineering Canon”
The successful candidate must be able to build according to our strict internal standards:
1. Immutable Fintech Ledger
Design a double-entry accounting system where database UPDATE and DELETE functions are restricted for financial tables. All errors must be handled via parent-referenced reversal logic.
2. Secure Content Delivery (HLS)
Implement HLS streaming with cryptographically signed tokens (TTL under 5 minutes). If you only know how to serve raw MP3 or MP4 files, please do not apply.
3. Ad-Tech Attribution
Build the backend for a direct-response engine, ensuring all native tel: (click-to-call) and WebView actions are fully tracked, attributed, and logged.
4. Behavioral Fraud Scoring
Implement logic to detect mechanical listening and impossible geography to protect advertiser spend. High-risk sessions must trigger an automated payout “kill switch” within the ledger.

• Frontend: Core UI/UX is complete. You will have the authority to refine the frontend as needed for seamless integration and performance.
• Requirements: A full Engineering Canon (technical specification) is ready to be shared upon signing an NDA/IP agreement.
• Phase 1 Budget: under $2,000 (fixed-price, milestone-based).
• Long-Term: Monthly retainer option available post-launch for maintenance and upgrades ($300–$500/month).

I need 30 days of maintenance (factored into your price before the post launch long term job begins) - my internal team will check every milestone before we move to the next (milestones will be broken down once we start chatting) - this is a long term gig I will be asking questions if you don’t like answering questions DO NOT BID

1. The Stack:
• Frontend: React Native (Current build by internal team).
• Backend: Node.js / Express (Preferred for scalability).
• Database: PostgreSQL (Required for relational integrity of the Ledger).
• Infrastructure: AWS (S3 for media, CloudFront for HLS delivery, Amazon Fraud Detector).
2. Data Models:
The core model is a Double-Entry Ledger. Every transaction is a ledger entry with debit_account, credit_account, amount, and parent_entry_id. You will be integrating this with the Stripe Connect API for multi-party payouts.
3. Infrastructure/API Access:
Full access to the GitHub repository, AWS Console, and Stripe Sandbox will be granted immediately upon the signing of our NDA and IP Agreement.
4. Milestone Priorities:
• Priority 1: Immutable Ledger & Stripe Sync (The Financial Core).
• Priority 2: Secure HLS Streaming & Signed Token logic (The Media Layer).
• Priority 3: Behavioral Fraud Scoring & Ad-Attribution.
