Laravel Developer for Web Application Extension - Private Car Listings & Dealer Bidding System
Budget: $350 – $550 USD
We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to extend an existing web application.
The current system is based on a customized fork of a multi-estate script, adapted for car dealerships. The goal of this project is to add a new module that allows private users (individual sellers) to publish their vehicles and receive purchase offers from registered car dealerships within the platform.
Main Objectives
Enable private users to list their cars with basic information
Allow car dealerships to browse these listings and submit purchase offers
Create interaction between private sellers and dealerships through an offer system
Scope of Work
1. Private User Dashboard
Create a simple dashboard for private users, with a design similar to the dealership dashboard but limited to:
Manage their car listings (create, edit, delete)
View and manage received offers
Manage their profile
2. Dealer Dashboard Enhancements
Extend the existing dealership dashboard to include:
A new section to view vehicles published by:
Other dealerships (already partially supported in DB)
Private users
Listings should only appear if the “visible to other dealerships” option is enabled (this field already exists in the database)
Add basic filters (e.g., brand, model, price, year, etc.)
3. Listings View for Private Sellers
Create a catalog-style view (similar to dealership listings)
Dealers should be able to:
Browse private user listings
Submit purchase offers directly from the listing
4. Offer System
Dealers can submit offers on vehicles listed by private users
Private users can view received offers in their dashboard
(Optional but preferred) Show only the top 5 best offers to simplify decision-making
5. Vehicle Request & Notification System
Allow dealerships to create a vehicle request (search criteria)
The system should notify them when matching vehicles are published by:
Other dealerships
Private users
Notification should include a link to a filtered catalog view with matching results
Technical Notes
The application is built in Laravel and is already fully functional
The database already contains some relevant fields (e.g., visibility to other dealers)
The system supports multiple languages, but:
No translation or language file updates are required for this project
Requirements
Strong experience with Laravel (backend + Blade or frontend integration)
Experience building dashboards and user role-based systems
Experience with relational databases and existing codebases
Ability to work with and extend an existing project (not from scratch)
Deliverables
Clean, well-structured, and documented code
Fully functional modules integrated into the existing system
Basic UI consistency with the current design
