Project Overview:
The project involves developing a clickable demo to highlight the capabilities of the ValidScan software and FlexiScan robot system. This includes designing UI templates, confirming navigation, and translating the PRD into a functional specification. The developer will work closely with the project lead to define the process flow chart and database structure.

Scope of Work:
1. Clickable Demo Development:
• Create a fully functional clickable demo based on the comprehensive process steps outlined in the PRD.
• The clickable demo will simulate interfaces with robotic controls and third-party test equipment.
2. UI Template Design:
• Develop UI templates for all identified screens as required in the demo below. [The UI screens shown in the attached were by me and not intended to be the standard - I’m not a designer]
• The UI templates need to be developed in parallel with the other activities to ensure consistency and alignment with data structures and functional requirements.

4. Functional Specification:
• Translate the PRD into a detailed functional specification. Include descriptions of user interactions, system behaviors, and data flows.
• Develop a comprehensive functional requirements specification that details all system behaviors and user interactions. This activity should be conducted concurrently with UI template development and data set mapping.
• Define functional requirements for integrating robot controls and third-party test equipment, including communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP), programming language, and frameworks and libraries considerations. These decisions will be made in consultation with the systems engineer.

5. Process Flow Chart and Database Structure:
• Collaborate with the project lead to develop a detailed process flow chart.
• Design the database structure to support the software functionalities.
• Define and document all data sets, their definitions, and dependencies using a structured data model. Ensure this activity runs in parallel with UI template development and functional requirements definition.

6. Budgetary Estimate and Development Timeframe:
• Provide a budgetary estimate for the development of the software.
• Outline the development timeframe, including key milestones and deliverables.

Skillsets Required:
• Database Architecture and Modeling: Expertise in defining and documenting data sets and their dependencies within a structured data model.
• Functional Requirements Specification: Experience in developing detailed functional requirements for complex software systems.
• Programming Languages and Communication Protocols: Proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, and familiarity with communication protocols like OPC-UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP. The decision on programming language, as well as common frameworks and libraries, will be made in consultation with the systems engineer.
• Cloud-Based Software Development: Experience in developing secure cloud solutions, including data storage, remote access, and software updates.
• Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Development: Proficiency in creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for software and robotic controls.
• Strong User Interface (UI) Design: Ability to design visually appealing and efficient user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Security: Knowledge in implementing robust security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and secure communication protocols.
• Payment Processing: Familiarity with integrating payment gateways and managing subscription-based models, including remote bricking capabilities.
