Founding Engineering Team Needed for Production-Grade Food Delivery Platform

Project Overview

I'm looking to assemble a small, highly skilled engineering team to build a production-ready food delivery platform from the ground up.

This is a long-term project, not a simple prototype. The goal is to create a scalable application that can grow into a commercial product.

Important: The technology stack has not been finalized yet. One of the first phases of the project will be collaborating on architecture and selecting the most suitable technologies based on scalability, maintainability, performance, and long-term goals.

I'm looking for professionals who can contribute to both implementation and technical decision-making.

Roles Required

Mobile Application Developer(s)

Responsibilities include:

* Develop high-quality mobile application(s)
* Build responsive and intuitive user experiences
* Integrate backend APIs
* Implement secure authentication
* Support real-time order tracking
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Backend Engineer

Responsibilities include:

* Design scalable backend architecture
* Develop secure APIs
* Build authentication and authorization systems
* Implement order management and real-time updates
* Integrate push notification workflows
* Ensure performance, security, and reliability
* Prepare deployment and infrastructure configuration

Core Features

The initial version should include:

* User authentication
* Restaurant listing and menu browsing
* Cart and checkout
* Order placement
* Real-time order tracking
* Live order status updates
* Ratings and reviews
* Push notifications
* Order history
* User profile management

The system should also be designed with future expansion in mind, including restaurant, delivery partner, and admin portals.

Deliverables

* Clean, well-structured source code
* Production-ready architecture

* Automated tests for critical modules
* CI/CD configuration
* Dockerized deployment
* API testing collection (Postman or equivalent)
