Django Ecommerce Bug Fixing

Job ID: 40436496

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My production ecommerce site, built with Django, shows occasional errors that interrupt normal shopping flow. I need a developer who can dig through the existing codebase, trace those intermittent faults, and provide a solid, tested fix so the storefront runs smoothly at all times.

Scope of work
• Reproduce the occasional failures on a local or staging copy.
• Pinpoint the root cause in the Django views, models, templates, or third-party integrations.
• Patch the code, write or update unit tests, and verify the fix across the full checkout journey, product browsing, and user account areas.
• Supply a concise change log and a brief report explaining what was wrong and how you resolved it.

Acceptance criteria
1. No uncaught exceptions or broken functionality after repeated test cycles.
2. All existing features continue to work as before.
3. Clear documentation of the changes committed.

The project is entirely back-end Python/Django; please be comfortable working with standard tools such as Git and virtual environments. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any relevant experience handling elusive, non-reproducible bugs in live ecommerce applications.
