Checkout & Backend Coding Support

I’m rebuilding my site’s checkout flow and I need an experienced developer to jump in quickly. The front-end for the page is mostly designed, but I still have gaps in the actual checkout logic—capturing cart details, calculating totals, applying promo codes, and, of course, processing payments. On the server side I’ll also need clean, well-documented endpoints to create orders, record transactions, and trigger the usual post-purchase events such as confirmation emails and inventory or subscription updates.

I’m not locked into any single stack; what matters most is reliable code, security best practices, and an approach that scales. If you’re comfortable wiring up payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, or a comparable solution) and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs, we’ll get along well. Please let me know your preferred language or framework—Node.js, Laravel, Django, or something equivalent is fine as long as it’s actively maintained and test-covered.
