Backend Reconfiguration for Mobile App

Project: Reconfigure Backend to New Database (Laravel + Node + WebSockets)

I have a mobile app (APK) that was previously working, but after server changes, key features stopped working (messages, calls, wallet updates).

I will be moving to a new clean database, so this task is focused on reconfiguring the backend to work correctly with it.

Scope of work:

- Configure backend to connect and operate with a new database
- Ensure database structure matches what the APK expects
- Verify and fix Laravel ".env" configuration
- Check server environment (PHP, Node.js, MySQL, Nginx)
- Ensure queue workers and real-time event broadcasting are working
- Verify WebSocket server is handling events correctly
- Test full data flow (app → backend → broadcast → app)

Important:

- Focus on backend configuration and data flow only
- Do NOT spend time on frontend/UI
- No risky or destructive commands

Budget: $10/hour, max 16 hours
