Backend Feature Enhancements

My project’s backend already handles core operations, yet it needs to feel tighter, faster, and more capable. I want the current endpoints and data flows refined while adding two crucial capabilities: full-fledged user authentication and actionable data analytics.

Here’s the direction:

• Enhance what is already there—clean up logic, improve performance, and close any edge-case errors you spot along the way.
• Build a modular authentication layer that plugs into the existing codebase. I’m open to your recommended approach (JWT, OAuth, or similar); the goal is secure login, smooth session management, and room for future add-ons like 2-factor.
• Integrate a lightweight analytics pipeline so I can track key usage metrics in real time. Whether it’s via custom logs, a third-party SDK, or a small reporting dashboard, I want clear insight into user behavior and system load.

Deliverables are straightforward: updated source code, migration or setup scripts if needed, and concise documentation that lets me maintain or extend your work. I will provide repo access and a short architecture walkthrough as soon as we start.
