Backend Development for AI Visualisation SaaS

Title: Backend Developer – SaaS Platform for AI Interior/Architecture Visualisation

Description:
We are building a SaaS application which will let users upload photos or 3D models and generate styled visualisations (interior/architecture) via AI. The frontend is built already (or under construction). We now need a backend developer/engineer to build the server‐side, API endpoints, database, auth, billing/credit system, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable backend architecture (cloud or server)

Build RESTful APIs (or GraphQL) for user workflows: upload, processing job queue, status, results retrieval

Integrate with the AI service (e.g., Google AI Studio / Gemini / Imagen) and with storage (image files)

Implement user authentication/authorization (email, social sign-on)

Build a credit/subscription/payment system (monthly plans, per-render credits)

Set up cloud hosting / deployments, monitoring, logging, backups

Ensure security (data protection, input sanitisation, server hardening)

Optimize performance (job queue management, caching, scaling)

Provide documentation of API, system architecture; optionally provide maintenance support after launch

Required Skills:

3+ years backend development experience

Strong in [choose your stack: e.g., Node.js + Express + Mongo/PostgreSQL OR Python + Django/Flask + PostgreSQL]

Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and deployment

Experience building payment/subscription systems (Stripe, Razorpay, etc)

Familiarity with job queues (e.g., Redis, Celery, Google Cloud Tasks), file storage, large file handling

Good communication skills; ability to break down tasks and propose architecture

Preferred:

Experience in image processing or working with generative-AI pipelines

Experience in SaaS platforms, user credit systems, billing
