Back End Developer (Contract)

Job Summary:
Project Widgets is looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Back-End developer to join our team on a 6 – 12-month contract working directly with one of our pharmaceutical clients. The ideal developer has a mastery of modern front-end frameworks, and the ability to work with architects to convert designs into perfect, usable applications. This position will require an individual to design, build, debug, optimize and implement solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment participating and working closely with a highly motivated team. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks is key.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
· Work with Project Manager or Product Owner to meet specification needs
· Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
· Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
· Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
· Document all programming tasks and procedures
· Perform routine software maintenance
Skills and Knowledge
· Full stack development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
· Working experience in Web services (SOAP/Restful) integration, failure analysis
· Understanding of back-end technologies
· Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new system
· Ability to write clean, readable code
· Experience with cloud-based databases and data persistence
· Experience working in an agile scrum environment
· Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
· Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
· Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
· Development experience with UI framework, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap
· Good understanding of core JavaScript and OOJS concepts
