Automotive Spare Parts Marketplace App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an idea for an automotive application that I would like to develop.
The main problem is that when customers visit a repair workshop, the mechanic can usually diagnose the fault and estimate the labor cost. However, to know the price and availability of the required spare parts, the mechanic often has to contact or visit several spare parts stores. This wastes time for both the workshop and the customer.
My application would solve this problem.
How it works
* The customer creates a simple profile (name, phone number, car model, and VIN/chassis number).
* The customer or the mechanic enters the required spare part, adds a description, and can also upload a photo of the part if available.
* The request is instantly sent to all spare parts suppliers registered on the platform.
* Each supplier can respond with:
* The price
* The brand/quality of the part (original, OEM, aftermarket, etc.)
* Availability
* Delivery time or store location
* The customer can then compare all offers in one place and choose the best option based on price, quality, and proximity.
Organization
The application should be well organized with categories such as:
* European vehicles
* Asian vehicles
* American vehicles
* Multi-brand spare parts suppliers
* Other specialized suppliers
Business model
At launch, the application will be completely free for both customers and spare parts suppliers in order to attract users.
Once the platform has built a solid user base, spare parts suppliers will pay a simple monthly subscription of approximately 10 Tunisian Dinars per month to continue receiving customer requests.
The goal of this application is to save time, increase transparency, help customers find the best prices, and generate more business for spare parts suppliers.
