Armbrella AWS Back-End Optimization
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project: Armbrella – Fitness & Wellness Social Platform
Armbrella is a mobile platform focused on fitness and wellness that combines health tracking tools, social media features, free wellness video content, and a professional search engine for users to connect with trainers and wellness professionals.
The platform was originally built using AWS Lambda, but due to performance and stability issues the app launch was delayed. We are now looking for an experienced developer to review the current architecture and migrate the backend to AWS EC2 (or recommend the best AWS architecture) to ensure the platform runs fast, stable, and bug-free before launch.
Key Responsibilities
• Review the existing codebase and AWS infrastructure
• Migrate backend services from AWS Lambda to EC2 (or improved architecture if recommended)
• Improve performance, stability, and scalability
• Identify and fix existing bugs and technical issues
• Implement proper deployment, monitoring, and logging for production reliability
Core Platform Features
• Health and wellness tracking tools
• Free fitness/wellness video content
• Social media-style fitness community
• Search engine for wellness professionals
Requirements
• Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, etc.)
• Backend development and performance optimisation
• Experience improving or migrating serverless architectures
• Ability to deliver a stable, production-ready platform quickly
Goal:
Deliver a fast, reliable, and scalable backend infrastructure to support the official launch of the Armbrella platform.
