Find Hong Kong Seafood Industry Broker
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are looking for a Hong Kong-based freelancer to help us identify and connect with brokers, commission agents, or similar intermediaries in the live seafood trade.
We are a crab exporter establishing supply from Vietnam and want to find out whether broker-type intermediaries exist in Hong Kong and, if so, connect with the right ones.
The work may include online research, phone/email outreach, and in-person visits to relevant seafood trade locations.
Deliverables:
• Identify whether broker-type intermediaries for live seafood actually operate in Hong Kong
• Provide a list of relevant contacts, including name, company, role, phone, email, and WhatsApp/WeChat if available
• Note whether each contact appears to be a broker, commission agent, trader, or another type of intermediary
• Provide short notes on what each contact said and whether they seem credible/relevant
• Facilitate introductions to the most promising contacts, where possible
• Submit a concise summary of findings and recommendations on next steps
Candidates with experience in market research, B2B outreach, import-export, or the seafood sector are preferred, but not required.
