UK & US Equipment Lease Contracts
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need two professionally drafted lease agreements for the alcohol-interlock devices we supply at 041174 LTD—one that is fully compliant for use throughout the United Kingdom and another suitable for the United States. We lease to both private motorists and commercial fleets, so the wording must stand up to B2C as well as B2B scrutiny.
Core requirements
• Editable fields for an up-front initial payment and selectable 12-, 24- or 36-month terms.
• A clear, legally sound end-of-term purchase provision; I am open to your recommendation on whether that should be fair-market value, a nominal fixed sum, or another mechanism that avoids us needing formal finance accreditation.
• Clauses covering installation, calibration, maintenance, tampering, loss, early termination, and default.
• Language that reflects our lack of FCA accreditation in the UK and any comparable licensing needs in the US while still allowing us to collect payments over the lease period.
• Separate governing-law and dispute-resolution sections (England & Wales for the UK version; your suggested federal-plus-state approach for the US version).
