Asian IT Marketing Quotation Specialist
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I need a seasoned marketer who already knows the ins and outs of Asia’s tech landscape to help me on two fronts:
1. Purchasing guidance and quotation
• Source and prepare an accurate, apples-to-apples quotation for enterprise-grade servers and storage destined for key Asian hubs (initial focus on Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Hong Kong).
• Highlight current pricing trends, import duties/taxes, lead times, and preferred local distributors or OEM channels.
• Flag any regional compliance or warranty considerations that could affect total cost of ownership.
2. Go-to-market consultation
• Analyse our target segments—both B2B buyers and the growing cloud-first SME crowd—and explain where they research, compare, and purchase hardware today.
• Recommend high-impact digital tactics for each locale (for example, LinkedIn ads and TechTarget for Singapore, Qiita or IT media placements for Japan).
• Outline a localisation strategy: messaging angles, language priorities, and content formats that resonate in each market.
• Suggest metrics and reporting cadences so we can track traction from day one.
I’m ready to move immediately, so please confirm you can turn around the first draft quotation and an initial market snapshot within a few days. Include a brief note on similar projects you’ve handled, the tools or data sources you rely on (e.g., Gartner, IDC, local distributor price lists), and how you prefer to collaborate across time zones.
