I'm looking for an experienced sysadmin to help manage my Ubuntu VM on Azure cloud service. This is a long-term position with a focus on docker containers, PostgreSQL, and HAProxy. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with system monitoring, security management, and backup and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and set up docker containers and networks
- System monitoring and maintenance
- Security management and updates
- Backup and disaster recovery
The most critical task at the moment is to manage and setup docker containers and network. General sysadmin tasks are also important.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Ubuntu VM on Azure
- Proficient in managing and setting up docker containers and networks
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and HAProxy
- Excellent skills in system monitoring, security management, and backup and disaster recovery
- Ability to handle general sysadmin tasks
