SQLite to Azure ETL Migration

I need to move an existing SQLite data store into Azure so the entire flow—ETL, scheduled queries and the Power BI dashboards that sit on top—runs automatically in the cloud. The main driver is tight integration with other Azure services.

The first milestone is a clean, reliable migration of schema and data into an Azure-hosted database (I am open to Azure SQL Database or another managed option if you can justify it). Once in place, I want a lightweight yet scalable solution for nightly ETL and ad-hoc transformations.

A key component will be an Azure Function App dedicated to data processing; this should handle the heavy lifting previously done by local scripts, then hand off fresh tables or views to Power BI. Please structure it so additional triggers or bindings can be added later—future phases will pull in data from several external APIs.

Deliverables
• Live Azure database containing all current SQLite data
• Deployable Function App (ARM/Bicep or Terraform preferred, but a clear script is fine) that performs the required data processing and can be scheduled or event-driven
• Documentation of the migration steps, connection strings, and how the Function App slots into the reporting workflow
• Brief hand-over call or screen-share to confirm everything runs end-to-end

If you have proven experience with Azure migrations, Function Apps and data-driven Power BI reporting, I’d like to hear how you would approach this and a realistic timeline for completion.

For the inital work of the project this will effectively be "coaching sessions" as you help guide me through the process during scheduled meetings. Additonal coding can be done on your own time - however access and log in to the company Azure and sharepoint will be restricted.
