Database Expert Needed to Migrate Azure MariaDB to Azure MySQL Flexible Server

Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable database expert to assist us with migrating our existing Azure Database for MariaDB instance to Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server.

Project Scope:
- Assess the current MariaDB setup and database structure
- Plan and execute the migration to Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server
- Ensure data integrity and minimal downtime during the migration
- Configure appropriate performance, security, and backup settings in the new environment
- Test and validate the migrated database for accuracy and performance
- Provide documentation and basic post-migration support

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience with MariaDB and MySQL
- Hands-on experience with Azure database services (especially Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server)
- Strong understanding of database migration tools and best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Deliverables:
- Successful migration of our database to Azure MySQL Flexible Server
- Complete verification and testing of the new setup
- Documentation of the migration process and configuration
- Recommendations for maintenance and optimization (if applicable)
