Microsoft LogicApp Licence Monitor
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a skilled developer to create a Microsoft LogicApp Licence Monitor for Azure. The ideal candidate should have experience in Azure and Microsoft licensing.
We are using "dynamic" license assignment for managing our Microsoft Licenses via Azure Groups. This means we add users to a certain Azure group, and all these members automatically get a license assigned. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/licensing-groups-assign
The next step is to manage the licence so we get notified automatically when there are not enough licences. Therefore we are using Azure LogicApps based on the following article:
https://www.inthecloud247.com/monitor-your-microsoft-365-licenses-with-logic-apps/
This article is unfortunately not covering everything because in the basis its only reporting the Active Licenses and Assigned licenses, but its not showing the assignment errors and because of this, it can never calculate the estimated total licenses required.
This information is available in the Azure Directory, however i need help to load this into LogicApps.
So, what i need the freelancer to do, is to modify the workflow to retrieve the "Licence assignment errors" and then count for the reason "Not enough licences" and all the others. This information then must be processed like like the following e-mail example below:
---
Hi
for tenant X? are not enough licences for SKU:
O365_BUSINESS
Available licences:{"enabled":99,"suspended":0,"warning":0}
Consumed licences: 99
"Not enough licenses" assigment errors: X?
Other assignment errors: X?
Required buffer licences: X?
Estimated total licences required: X? (sum of Available + NotEnoughLicErrors + Buffer)
Warning: if there are any "Other Assigment Errors" please make sure to solve this first to make sure there are no error conflicts and more licences are needed. [DIRECT LINK TO LICENCE ASSIGNMENT ERRORS]
---
Note:
The freelancer should prepare the "Actions" on his own tenant. He has to send over well-documented instructions how we can implement this in logicapp flow by ourselves. Its not possible to give access to our systems because of security reasons.
If you have experience in creating Microsoft LogicApp Licence Monitors and can deliver the project within the deadline, please submit your proposal.
