Logic App sync Google Groups and Members to Azure AD Groups and members
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can help me sync my Google Groups and members to my Azure AD Groups and members. My current setup includes both Google Groups and Azure AD Groups, which are active and set up. The specific data that needs to be synced includes both group names/descriptions and members. The preferred frequency of syncing is real-time.
Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
- Experience with Logic Apps
- Familiarity with Google Groups and Azure AD Groups
- Experience with real-time syncing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Background information:
There is a federation active from Google to Microsft365 (see this instructions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/education/windows/configure-aad-google-trust and https://apps.google.com/supportwidget/articlehome?hl=en&article_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.google.com%2Fa%2Fanswer%2F6363817%3Fhl%3Den&assistant_id=generic-unu&product_context=6363817&product_name=UnuFlow&trigger_context=a). This intergration automatically synchronising all Google users to Azure Active Directory but not the groups. There are documented ways to populate the Google Group membership in the SAML login request, however this is not what we need. We need the synchronisation of Google Groups to Azure Groups.
Requirements of the Logic App:
- Create Groups in Azure AD (based on Google groups) for groups with (Google Group)-members that exist in Azure Directory (Users might be excluded in the integration and then then those groups does not have to be created)
- Rename Groups in Azure AD when they don't exist or not required any more for sync in format "[original groupname]-Deleted"
- For all the Azure Groups that do not contain the "deleted" flag in the name, sync Google Group members to Azure Directory group membership (aswel subscribe as unsubscribe) for only users that exist in Azure Directory.
- Sync should run daily and on a webhook call.
- 100USD Bonus for automating the trigger after:
1. A user is populated in azure AD
2. Group membership changed in Google groups
