Hands-On Azure & AWS DevOps Training Project (Learning with Real Cloud Environments)
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I am looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer or Trainer who can guide me through practical, hands-on learning in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The goal of this project is to help me understand and build real-world DevOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, monitoring, and automation using industry-standard tools.
The freelancer must have active Azure and AWS accounts for demonstration and learning purposes, so I can follow along with practical exercises and real cloud setups.
Learning Objectives:
CI/CD Pipelines
Learn to create and manage pipelines using Azure DevOps and AWS CodePipeline.
Understand build, test, and deployment automation with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Hands-on training using Terraform, Azure ARM/Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation.
Deploy virtual machines, networks, and Kubernetes clusters via code.
Containerization & Orchestration
Learn Docker basics and orchestration using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Practice deploying containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines.
Monitoring & Logging
Learn to set up monitoring with Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana/Prometheus.
Configure alerting, dashboards, and centralized logs.
Security & DevSecOps
Implement security scanning, IAM roles, and secret management via Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
Learn best practices for secure CI/CD and infrastructure management.
Automation & Scripting
Practice scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and Python for DevOps automation tasks.
Optional: Serverless functions using Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
Deliverables:
