Google Workspace to M365 Migration

Job ID: 40174218

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a specialist who can move my entire Google Workspace—emails, Drive documents, and shared calendars—for a small team of 1-10 users into Microsoft 365. Once the data lands safely in Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Outlook/Teams calendars, I’ll also need Microsoft 365 fully set up so the team can hit the ground running.

Here’s what the engagement looks like:

• Pre-migration review: verify domain ownership, assess current Google Admin Console settings, and map users and shared folders.
• Data migration: use Google Workspace Migration Tool, Mover, or a comparable method to transfer all mailboxes (labels ↔ folders intact), Drive files (permissions preserved), and calendar entries (including recurring events and invites).
• Post-migration configuration: create user accounts and licenses, set up Outlook profiles, OneDrive sync, SharePoint team sites, and security basics such as MFA, conditional access, and DKIM/SPF records.
• Cut-over & validation: schedule switchover, run tests for mail flow and file integrity, and capture any stragglers still in Google.
• Knowledge hand-off: short walkthrough on the Microsoft 365 admin center plus a checklist of best-practice settings.

Acceptance criteria
1. All emails, files, and calendars appear in the correct Microsoft 365 apps with original timestamps and sharing permissions.
2. Users can send/receive email through Exchange Online without bounce-backs.
3. OneDrive and Outlook are signed in and syncing on each user’s primary device.
4. DNS records and security settings pass standard tests (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
5. A concise migration report is delivered, noting any items that could not migrate and why.

If you’ve handled end-to-end migrations of this scale and can work during a weekend cut-over window, let’s talk.
