Job ID: 37194709

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I am looking for someone to enable AD DS authentication for my Azure file shares.

Current Setup:
- I have not set up Azure file shares yet.

AD DS Environment:
- I have an existing Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environment, and one on azure.

Skills and Experience:
- Expert experience with Azure and AD DS authentication is required for this project.

I have followed this process.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/storage-files-identity-ad-ds-enable

Gives me these errors

Debug-AzStorageAccountAuth : CheckUserRbacAssignment - FAILED

---- CheckSidHasAadUser ----
No Azure Active Directory user exists with OnPremisesSecurityIdentifier of the currently logged on user's SID (S-1-5-21-698091961-3295

This means that the AD user object has not synced to the AAD corresponding to the storage account.
Mounting to Azure Files using Active Directory authentication is not supported for AD users who have not been synced to
AAD.
Need someone interesting in resolving these issues in a remote environment, and demonstrating it.
