- Used for Scrum activities - Need to suggest some best practicies.
Jfrog
- Used for build Artifacts upload
- Explore advantages and new features using Jfrog.
- Is it better to use Jfrog artifatory or can use Azure artifacts itself, we need to provide suggestion.
Sonar Qube
- For Static code analysis
- In depth knowledge on how to perform static code analysis on new code
- Sonarqube Developer and Enterprise edition advantages
- SonarLint - Associate with Devloper's IDE for analysis
- Baselining of old code
- Quality gate profiles, Quality gate results etc.
Mono Repo
- Knowledge on how to handle Mono repo in a better way.
- Gradle or blaze build tools to be used.
k8s
- Good knowledge on K8s.
Gradle or Blaze
- Build tools for Mono Repo usage.
No cloud, everything on-prem.
- All Linux and Windows mahcine VM's only as the application has both Linux and Windows build's.
- Knowledge on Install Shield.
No monitoring tools - Might need to propose.
- VM's mostly becomes slow, need to find an approach to monitor it on regular basis.
- As of Development and build is happening on same m/c's. Separating builds to new build machines but we need to take care of build machines health.
Yaml
- 60% of pipelines are in Classic, remaining 40% is in yaml.
- New project to be completed in yaml and existing pipelines to be converted to yaml.
- Overall, Need to implement best practices in Devops scope. Helm and Argo CD deployment plan is in future.
Release pipelines:
- Always have some issue w.r.t FS high and memory usage issues. We need to propose an approach to fix them.
Linux - Rhel 8 & Rhel 7 versions - Have good knowledge
Test automation integration
- Integrate test automation framework into Az devops to trigger execution from AZ Devops
And Implement any best practices
