Design a 'typical' small business Azure Virtual Windows Server & Workstation environment, document and train for engineers to roll out
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are an MSP with clients who would benefit from Azure Virtualisation. Typically between 5 and 25 users, they will either not need a server (peer to peer and using M365 with SharePoint) or they may have a server for a line of business application; and that server application may require a SQL database from time to time.
We are looking for an experienced consultant to get us up and running in how to build, provision, manage and support such an environment, giving us training and writing documentation we can follow to be able to replicate the task without you.
The deliverables for this scope of work will be:
* work with us to define and agree a 'typical build' virtual environment (eg it could be something like: 5 workstations, a server and a SQL database)
* consult and decide with us whether or not to use Nerdio as part of the mix, and move us forward accordingly, educating us in the pros, cons and hazards
* create documentation that engineers with only minimal training will be able to follow to create the 'typical build' virtual environment
* train key engineers so that they know enough to be able to follow your documentation, understand and implement the concepts and provide ongoing support
We are users of Kaseya VSA for endpoint management.
What project success will look like:
That one of our engineers without prior knowledge of Azure will be able to follow your documentation and create a secure environment with a server, backend SQL database and several PCs, all accessible to remote users in a secure way. We would sign off the project when our engineer has delivered a 'typical build' virtual environment from scratch that has been tested as fully functional by a senior engineer on the team.
We'd look for the scope of work to be at a fixed price agreed at the outset, and then we'd want to have an ongoing relationship where we can call on and pay you to help from time to time, either building out new Azure environments or providing support if needed.
We will be looking for someone who is able to communicate clearly in English and in a way other engineers can understand; they will also give regular updates of progress and both set and adhere to clear and agreed delivery dates.
We will endeavour to answer any questions you may have whilst pitching your proposal to us.
