AI Coding Consultant

Project Overview

We are seeking a production-ready implementation of Claude Code to enhance their development workflow. As the AI Consultant, you will architect the environment, integrate AI agents within the Azure ecosystem, and ensure the engineering team (working in .NET and React) is equipped with the tools, patterns, and training necessary for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Environment Architecture: Set up a secure, production-grade Claude Code environment, including proper API authentication, secrets management, and CLI integration for .NET/Visual Studio.
Azure Agent Integration: Configure and deploy AI Agents within Azure to support backend orchestration and automated workflows.
Full-Stack Implementation: Develop reusable C# service wrappers and structured prompt patterns. Provide working integration examples for both the .NET backend and React/Next.js frontend.
Security & Governance: Implement "governance-by-design" principles, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), immutable logging, and cost-management controls.
Documentation & Standards: Deliver comprehensive documentation covering API patterns, structured outputs, testing strategies, and deployment guidance.
Team Training: Lead practical workshops for the mSupply dev team on prompt engineering, Claude fundamentals, and AI security best practices.

Technical Requirements

AI/LLM: Expert-level knowledge of Claude (Anthropic) and OpenAI integrations.
Backend: Senior-level proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
Frontend: Experience with React and Next.js integration.
Cloud: Extensive experience with Azure AI services and agentic workflows.
Tools: Mastery of Claude Code CLI and its application within Visual Studio environments.
