Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
Azure Security & DevOps Consultant – Regular Sprints
About the Work:
We have a 3D Enterprise Asset Management Platform in production and are seeking a Security & DevOps Consultant to support platform hardening, operational readiness, and secure expansion.
The platform is:
• Focused on digital twin and asset management
• Built entirely on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform
• 12+ months in live production (v2.2)
What You’ll Do:
• Implement Azure security configurations aligned to CIS Benchmarks and Microsoft Cloud Security Best Practices
• Configure and manage Azure services: App Service, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Front Door, DNS Zones
• Establish operational logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies
• Implement and document basic BCP/DR components (aligned to SDLC)
• Support secure deployment and role-based access models across services
What We Expect:
• Deep familiarity with Azure fundamentals and secure-by-design DevOps practices
• Experience applying CIS Benchmarks and Microsoft security frameworks
• Clear documentation and traceability of all configurations and recommendations
• Secure, least-privilege, and auditable approach to design and deployment
Collaboration:
• Enjoy a milestone-based check-in process with scheduled sessions to review work together.
• We’ll find mutually agreeable times to meet, keeping in mind that I'm based in AEST and generally available any time with some notice.
• Clear communication and regular updates are key to our process.
What You’ll Get:
• Clear, structured, documented requirements
• Collaborative working style (Product Manager and Enterprise Architect support — no direct customer interaction required)
• Flexibility to deliver in regular sprint cycles (outcomes-driven, not micromanaged)
• Emphasis on standards, security, and traceable design decisions
To Apply:
• Briefly outline your Azure architecture and security experience
• Provide examples of projects with CIS Benchmark or Microsoft Cloud Security compliance
• Summarize your approach to traceable, secure cloud deployments
