Azure-On-Prem Lab VPN Connectivity Fix

I have deployed a simple lab enviornment on exsi that hosts a domain controller.
I have created a hub and spoke architerture in azure and connected the on premises network to the hub via a s2s vpn. Both windows and azure is showing that the vpn is connected. I am unable to communicate with a VM inside a spoke of azure. peering has been configured so not sure where the issue is stemming from.
