Azure Migration & DevOps Setup
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m standing up a new analytics environment in Azure and I need an expert who can take full ownership of three intertwined streams of work:
• Data migration – Build end-to-end pipelines in Azure Data Factory that handle extraction, transformation, and loading from our on-prem sources into an Azure Data Lake. Azure Functions or Logic Apps can be used where they add value for event-driven steps or lightweight transformations.
• Security & RBAC – Design and apply role-based access controls across the whole solution so that data in the lake, ADF, and any supporting services stays locked to the right teams. Policy-driven best-practice is a must.
• CI/CD – Set up a clean, automated release flow (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions—your choice) that moves code, ARM/Bicep templates, and data-factory JSON from dev through to prod with approvals and rollbacks.
I’m storing the curated data in Data Lake, but the design should remain flexible enough to surface results into Azure SQL or Dataverse later if we decide to expand into Power Platform.
By the end of the project I expect working pipelines, documented RBAC assignments, and a push-button deployment process I can demo to the team. If you’ve delivered similar Azure data lake solutions and can move quickly, let’s talk.
